A lot of people hate on this album because of madlib's sped up voice alterego Quasimoto on the mic. If it bothers you that much, pick up the instrumental version. I don'tmind it, tho i admit i can't listen to it all the time. Beat wise, this album is fantastic. Some of Madlib's best work. I like it because it's original, and also very refreshing.

The Unseen is the 2000 debut album from Quasimoto, the alter ego of Madlib. The album was composed and recorded by Madlib in one week during a week long psychedelic shroom trip. The Unseen is the debut studio album by Quasimoto, a hip-hop duo composed of Madlib and his animated alter ego Lord Quas. It was released under Stones Throw Records on June 13, 2000. It was re-released in 2005 as a deluxe edition with a bonus CD containing the instrumental version of the album. The identity of Quasimoto himself was a bit of a mystery - maybe he was Madlib, maybe he wasn't. Maybe it's none of our business.
